For those with a classical education, I hope you get the title.

okay phobos is dead, long live Deimos.

the bottom half of the sustainer was saved, with the cut coming above the top lug. the payload section and the nose cone is fine.

here's the plan and what's been done so far.

So far........... coupler made (quantum), broken fin removed and epoxy removed from root edges, piston cut out. decals removed.

to do,

reglue fin. get a section of quantum from malcolm, make the by sustainer section longer, glue in piston above the H motor hole - she ain't flying on an I. piston to act as a shock cord anchor. figure out motor retainer - i have and idea, build in a more relieable electronic housing for the altimeter. add rail guides, will be doing something a bit different - adam will hate it. make a second ebay for duel deployment etc. repaint again, buy new decals, break both of adam's and dave's legs, and with that she should be able to fly. thinking March April, depending on the weather.

Putting me to shame again with all the repair and building work. Mind you I have now cleared access to my building table again and I did remove the dead chute from one of the rockets I flew last time out.

Need to make sure I get as many 29 and 38mm rockets out of my build queue as possible, some Pro29 and Pro38 is calling me for next season ;-) Think I'll skip the 24mm, all a bit too powerful for the kits I've got to fly on them.

Hey Dude,

Great to see you've got the winter build session off to a great start Cool

Can't wait to see her fly in the New Year! Promise I won't break the fins on this one.....

Make sure you post some build pics.

I know, this website is much better, but uploading photos seems far from a button click away.... the only way I have found (hopefully someone knows an easier way)

1. Upload the photo you want from the midland rocketry dashboard > media > add new
2. When you have uploaded the photo, copy the URL of the location it is saved at
3. Add the following line in your post to show the picture

i.e. (all on one line) - split over multiple posts because I can't work it out another way
<

Simples (not)..... Cool
