Recovering Rockets: When retrieving your rockets please bear in mind the following...
Always follow the Countryside Code
Follow the guidance in the UKRA Safety Code
Facilities: There are No facilities at this site. ie No Toilets or washing facilities - The nearest public ones are at the M42 Junction 11 Services (3 miles away)
Please be courteous to landowners, remember it is only by the kind permission of the landowner and adjacent landowners that we are allowed to retrieve rockets and thereby pursue our hobby.
If a rocket should drift a long way before landing and you suspect that the vehicle has landed on property which the club does not normally have permission to recover from (See Flying Event Leaflet), do attempt to contact the landowner/tenant and ask permission to retrieve! and/or Seek advice from the RSO, Midland Rocketry Senior Team Member if your rocket comes down on land we don't have permission to access, or land where retrieval is difficult.
In Crops, use the path or tractor lines when ever possible, even grass is a crop. Farmers do not like flat crops as it costs them money.
Try and not to disturb any wildlife.

Liability of Midland Rocketry: Midland Rocketry, it's executive officers, club members accept no liability for any loss of personal items or damage to personal property. Please note that this hobby is about putting rockets into the air, and as the saying goes 'What goes up must come down' so please be aware that on some occasions parachutes may fail to open and the rockets will hit the ground at some speed. That is why it is important for flyers to have insurance and spectators be aware of every flight.
