Hopefully no snow!
Will be bring my UKAYRoC's rockets and some of the team members to launch and hopefully qualify.
one on a cluster of D12s
one on F40 - of which i have only two motors.
Does anyone have any F40's that they want to sell?

Egg lofting with a streamer  Shocked  That must be tricky to try and achieve. Will wish your team luck

Is it worth bringing a frying pan to heat up on the Drover? That's if everyone can avoid hitting it with rockets this year!

Sorry haven't been online much recently, wedding plans are taking over most things at the moment, three weeks on Saturday!

Am very much in for the launch, let's hope for some good flying and a catch up!

See you Sunday!

Oh no, another fine man bites the dust.

Congrats - it's not actually that painful ;-) Just remember to say yes in all the right places.

Weather check looks to be giving winds of 16-18 mph. but no snow and dry.
Don't think i'm going to be flying anything that goes too high or has a habit of weathercocking.

Depends where you look Matt.  Smiley
I have found Metcheck are more reliable when looking for a few days in advance.

Anyway, it is going to dry. Just hope the ground is firm and not to muddy at the entrance so we can all get on.

I am not flying, just coming up to pay £90 to you Matt for the Valves/Reloads, also to chat and see what's going on for the first session of the year.

Paul, has the money come through yet? So I at least kniow that Club membership is paid along with the clothing order when I turn up.

With everyone hopefully bringing the clothing order money this Sunday, will the order go out next week to the supplier Paul?

I have been told that at least Andrew Bury may be going to BK.

There is always the problem when dates are moved if members frequent both clubs. A choice has to be made. This is why we went with every 2nd Sunday as no other rocket club flew on that Sunday. EARS do the 1st Sunday and BK do every 3rd Sunday so by moving the date we will always clash.

Hi all,

Just spoke to Dave re BK launch on Sunday.

He told me it was a bit of a no go for the flying meet.

As it happened, they could not get onto the field due to the soft surface, so he called it off as soon as he got there.  So about 12.30 they went to the pub!

He said Charles and a family from South Africa who have just moved to the UK turned up to fly.

He think's it will be like that until the fine weather comes along and is looking to get a toilet on site.

So Looks like we had the better conditions.

But glad to see Charles is up and about!!!!

Regards
