Flying dates for 2021

​

 

As normal MRC will be flying on the 2nd Sunday of each month. Please remember that as always all flying sessions are subject to the weather conditions and RSO cover.

 

We typically fly between 10:30 and 16:30 on the dates below (subject to weather and RSO cover) on farmland  at Twycross which is also the site used for our National Event  “Midland Sky”

  9 th May (planned subject to lockdown restrictions)

12 th and 13 th June Club weekend event (planned subject to lockdown restrictions)

  8 th August (We will currently assume this will be cancelled due to crops and will be reviewed during the year)
18 th to 19 th September Midland Sky (Set up and camping on Friday 17 th) further details to follow

10 th October (planned subject to lockdown restrictions)

14 th November (planned subject to lockdown restrictions)

2021 MRC Associate Membership Costs

Senior Flyer HPR & BP      = £45.00
Junior Flyer HPR & BP       = £25.00

Please note: MRC associate membership fees are due at the March launch

2021 MRC Half Year Fees Non Membership Costs

March to June (4 mths) Half year fees = £30.00 = £7.50 per launch

July to Nov (3 mths) Half year fees = £25.00 = £8.33 per launch

MRC Pay on Use Costs

HPR & BP = £10.00
 

You must have BMFA insurance and/or UKRA membership to fly at MRC. New members can use the buddy scheme to fly for the first 2 (two) months without their own insurance, contact us for more information.
