May’s meeting was windy, but we still flew and it was good to see some new faces and new joining members.

Members of MRC will be going to the Festival of Rocketry – we hope to see you all there.

Fees for this year have been published, they are lower than they were in 2011, and a lot cheaper for BP (Estes etc) fliers as we want those of you out there starting rocketry to join the club, or just pop along and see what we do.

We are a UKRA and BMFA affiliated model rocketry club for all model rocketeers, especially those based in the East Midlands and West Midlands flying any A to L power motors including those from Estes, Aerotech and Cesaroni. We provide a friendly and local rocket launch site for the regions of Birmingham, Tamworth, Walsall, Dudley, Solihull, Warwickshire, Twycross, Staffordshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicester, Tamworth, Derbyshire and Wolverhampton.
